Rene earned his degree in Accountancy in April 1982 from Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) as a cum laude graduate.

 

He was a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines and was an active member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Rene earned his Masters in Business Management from MSU-IIT in April 1995. In his desire to upgrade his skills and knowledge suitable to the Australian environment, Rene has undertaken bridging courses in Australian Taxation and Australian Company Law at the University of Southern Queensland.

 

He has also completed the Chartered Accountants Program and became a member of the Institute in July 2009.

 

Rene has over twenty (20) years of overseas accounting experience in the commercial & industrial sector prior to joining Bugden & Partners.

 

In September 2004 Rene and his family migrated to Australia and settled in Port Macquarie. He joined Bugden & Partners in June 2005 as an accountant providing a comprehensive range of accounting and taxation services for individuals, trusts, companies and self managed super funds.
